The 2025 Baja SAE schedule has been released, and it’s packed with exciting events! As a reminder, Baja SAE is an intercollegiate design competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). The competition challenges students to design and build an off-road vehicle that can withstand the harsh conditions of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico.
The competition is divided into two classes: Class 1 and Class 2. Class 1 vehicles are required to be powered by a single-cylinder engine, while Class 2 vehicles can use any type of engine. Additionally, different competitions and events are held throughout the season, leading up to the main event in June.
The first event of the 2025 Baja SAE season is the Design Challenge, which will be held on [Date]. The Design Challenge is a virtual event where teams submit their vehicle designs to a panel of judges. The judges will evaluate the designs and select the teams that will be invited to compete in the main event.

The second event of the season is the Build Event, which will be held on [Date]. The Build Event is a four-day event where teams build their vehicles. The vehicles are then inspected by a panel of judges to ensure that they meet all of the competition requirements.
The main event of the 2025 Baja SAE season is the Race Event, which will be held on [Date]. The Race Event is a four-day event where teams compete in a series of races. The races are held on a challenging off-road course, and the teams are scored on their speed, endurance, and overall performance.
The Baja SAE competition is a great opportunity for students to learn about engineering and design. The competition also helps students to develop teamwork and problem-solving skills.
